PORT PERRY -- The public's adoration for choppers is such that if he pulls into a service station, he's resigned to stay awhile, says one local motorcycle enthusiast.



"If you're riding a chopper and you pull in for gas, you'd better get a coffee because you'll be there for awhile. You'll get crowds of people around you who want to check out your bike and take pictures. It's still just a bike -- it's got two wheels and a motor -- but it's a completely different experience," says Peter Ott, a partner with the Cranked Customs shop located on Northport Road, west of Port Perry in the industrial park.
