This sleek lowrider, named `Lucky Seven,’ was produced by Polar Cycles of Yorkshire for Kev Beardsley and is a fine example of a `from-the-ground-up’ custom motorcycle. ... As Stez - owner of Polar Cycles - explained over a brew, there are two basic approaches to custom biking; one is to tweak and personalise a stock metric cruiser, or Harley-Davidson, using a meaty parts catalogue, whilst the second option is to start with a blank beer mat down the pub one night and then try and finance the construction of something totally unique.
Lucky Seven started life as a modified Twin Cam 1450cc, Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, after Kev had a fair amount of work done to his motorcycle to make it look - and ride – differently; Ness Wide Glide forks, Zodiac rear end, RST wheels and brakes etc. "
